About The Author

As a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, Gulf Coast Civil War became fascinated with local Civil War era history, in particular the 1865 campaign for Mobile. He founded the Mobile Civil War Round Table and regularly gives talks on Civil War topics. Gulf Coast Civil War is currently pursuing a graduate degree in history. He is a member of the Friends of Historic Blakeley State Park, Mobile Historical Society, and the History Museum of Mobile.
